SNOVONNE, The Nightmare Bride
Red Rock Management ist auf der Suche nach einem passenden Label und Produzenten für das zweite Album “The Nightmare Bride” von Snovonne. Die folgenden Informationen geben Ihnen einen besseren Einblick von dem, was dieses Projekt und Konzept darstellt.
Snovonne ist eine Sängerin und Songwriterin die abwechselnd in Deutschland, London, den USA und in der Slowakei lebt. Ihre Musik steht für Temperament und Unberechenbarkeit, orchestrale und theatralische Monumentalität und eine verspielte Bitterkeit der Sprache. All dies bewirkt, dass Sno-Fans sich persönlich mit Ihr und ihrer Musik identifizieren können.
Dieses Demo wurde von Snovonne bei Ihr zu Hause als Eigenproduktion aufgezeichnet. Es ist Rohmaterial, das jetzt produziert und aufgenommen werden soll. Dieses Demo dient als eine kurze Vorschau und Hinweis, welche Richtung Sie mit Ihrem zweiten Album nehmen will. Die orchestralen Elemente sind jetzt noch intensiver und die Balladen noch herzzerreißender. Die Arrangements haben mehr an Progressivität gewonnen und die schweren Stücke hauen richtig rein. Vor allem will Snovonne einen Gospelchor zu ihren Background-Vocals hinzufügen, um einen einzigartig dunklen, industriellen Sound voll Düsternis zu kreieren.
“The Nightmare Bride” ist ein Konzept, das Snovonne ursprünglich fürs Theater geschrieben hat. Seit ihre Kindheit schreibt sie Musik und Texte aus der Notwendigkeit heraus mit ihren Albträumen umzugehen und so entstand dieses entscheidende Element in ihrer Kunst. Viele Psychologen sehen Träume als einen Dialog zwischen dem bewußten und dem unbewußten “Ich”. CG Jung sagt, dass Träume helfen können den Umgang mit den dunklen Elementen aus unseren Träumen zu akzeptieren und dadurch diese Probleme zu lösen. “The Nightmare Bride” ist ein konzeptionelles Album, jeder Song steht für einen anderen Traum, bis zur endgültigen Konfrontation und der letzendlich gegenseitigen Akzeptanz von Snovonne und ihren Albträumen. Nach der Heirat mit dem Clown, der die Alptraum-Welt repräsentiert, wird Snovonne die „Nightmare Bride“. Die Kontroverse in diesem Konzept kommt sehr deutlich zur Geltung auf dem Cover der Demo-CD, das Snovonne selbst entworfen hat.

Red Rock Management is on a quest for a suitable label and producer for the second album “The Nightmare Bride” of Snovonne. The following information will give you more insight of what this project and concept is all about.
Snovonne is a singer and songwriter living by turns in Germany, London, USA and Slovakia. Her music represents temperament and unpredictability, orchestral and theatrical monumentality and playful bitterness of language. All of this makes the Sno-fans personally relate to her and her music.
This demo was all recorded and self-produced by Snovonne at her home studio. It’s raw material that is to be produced and recorded. This demo serves as a short preview of the direction she wants her second album to take. The orchestral parts have become more twisted and the ballads even more heart-breaking. The overall arrangements gained more progression and the heavy bits spit right in the face. Above all, Snovonne wants to add a gospel choir to her background vocals to create a unique heavy industrial soul sound.
“The Nightmare Bride” is a concept Snovonne originally wrote for theatre. Writing her music and lyrics since childhood, the need to deal with her nightmares has been a crucial element in her art all along. Many psychologists see dreams as a dialogue between the conscious “me” and the unconsciousness. C. G. Jung says that dreaming might help us get over problems by accepting and dealing with the dark elements in our dreams. “The Nightmare Bride” is a conceptual album where every song represents a different dream, leading to the final confrontation and mutual acceptance of Snovonne and her nightmares. Snovonne becomes the Nightmare Bride after marrying The Clown, who represents the nightmare world. The controversy of this concept is obviously captured in the cover of the demo Snovonne herself designed.
